Bison Heart

100% grass-fed bison heart from Polish Ponderosa Farm located in Berlin, Wisconsin. Despite being an organ, the texture and taste of bison heart is similar to that of regular muscle meat. The bison heart is also packed full of nutrients, containing high levels of folate, iron, selenium, and zinc. It is also lower in cholesterol and less than half the fat content of conventional lean beef. Bison heart is most often enjoyed when cooked and eaten like a steak, but you can also cut it into chunks for pasta or stew.
